Puttenhams poor run of results continued as the lost 2 - 3 to Hambledon in a game where they deserved at least a point if not all 3.
Utd dominated the first half and eventually took the lead after about half an hour when Pual fired in from the edge of the box when Hambledon failed to clear. No more than they deserved having already created several good chances. Utd increased their lead 5 minutes later when Jack finished from a tight angle. On the stroke of half time Hambledon pulled one back after Mike had saved a penalty but the taker followed in to score. Despite Puttenhams continuing attacking play Hambledon levelled early in the second half and then took the lead with 20 minutes left. Utd chased an equilser for the remainder of the game but failed to find the net having created further chances and were denied on the stroke of full time by a fine save from Aarons strike from the edge of the box.
Star man this week was Adam, closley follower by Paul and Mike. If Utd reproduce this effort for the last 2 games we will have something to build on for next season.
