Sat 06 Mar 2010  Cup
Spelthorne Sports 3
Puttenham United FC 0

Once again Puttenham lost a game they could have won.
With several players calling off late Utd arrived with a bear 11 again.
An error from a corner gave Speltorne an undeserved half time lead, having not put Utd under much pressure throughout the half. Puttenham started the second half slowly but still looked capable of going on to take the game until Spelthorne scored a second following Utd's failure to clear the ball. Thereafter the commitment and workrate of a number of players visiably dropped and it was game over as far as Puttenham were concerned. Another individual error gave Spelthorne a third.
If everyone's effort and workrate matched that of Ben Mason we could still turn this run of bad form round.
