Heathside is an exclusive stable with a friendly group of people who are always willing to help out. We operate a small, friendly livery yard welcoming all breeds of horses. Heathside is situated in an attractive and peaceful location on the edge of Walton on Thames in Surrey. Located a short distance from Junction 10 M25 motorway (A3 INTERCHANGE). There are five miles of bridleways for riding Off-road, and around local lakes at “Molesey Heath”, and here we are a short distance from “West End woods”.
Heathside Livery Stables offer DIY Livery and soon to offer Part Livery with all year grazing. We have been running as a DIY Livery for around seven years, before that it was known as Hersham Equestrian Centre which was a very popular riding school welcoming all ages of the public. Some horses are still here today.
Heathside cannot just be remembered for its recent years as a stable, it has been around for about 400 years, which is now registered as a famous listed building. In the Tudor Period “1600 – 1700’s it was used as one of Hampton Court Palace’s guest stable yards which was looked after by one of four gate houses in the local area. Visitors to the Palace would come from far away and leave their horses to be cared for by stable workers, whilst they visited the King.
